On Sunday, June 7, emergency services conducted a search and rescue operation to recover more than 20 people stranded in their cars in the snow near Hotham Heights in Australia, the Victoria State Emergency Service announced in a press release on Facebook. All 19 people who were trapped in their vehicles have now been rescued, ABC News Australia reported.
