Alabama A&M Football Player Medrick Burnett Jr., 20, Dies Over a Month After In-Game Injury

Medrick Burnett Jr., a 20-year-old Alabama college football player, died on Nov. 27, over a month after he was hospitalized following an in-game head injury. The Jefferson County Coroner's Office confirmed Burnett's death two days after his school retracted a false death announcement.
