Paul Mescal has been cast as Paul McCartney in upcoming Beatles biopics, according to 'Gladiator II' director Ridley Scott. The director let the news slip during an interview with Christopher Nolan that was held at the Directors Guild of America in Los Angeles on Dec. 10.
