Martha Stewart announced in a Jan. 17 Instagram post that she adopted a Persian cat from Rock N' Rescue Pets in Bedford Hills, NY. The lifestyle guru — who has several animals, including dogs, cats, horses, donkeys, chickens and peacocks — used her platform to encourage pet adoption, calling it "a very good thing."
