Viola Davis shared in an interview with The Times that she was initially 'judgmental' of Chadwick Boseman on the set of 'Ma Rainey's Black Bottom' before finding out he was dying of cancer. Boseman died at 43 on August 28, 2020 after a four-year cancer battle.
