Melissa Diaz-Viera and her husband Robert Lang were overjoyed to have a baby after years of trying to get pregnant and also suffering pregnancy losses. A year after their daughter was born, Diaz-Viera was diagnosed with ALS. Despite her condition deteriorating, she tries to stay positive for her daughter.
