Jaylen Martinez, the 13-year-old son of former VCU basketball star Joey Rodriguez and a rising basketball star himself, died unexpectedly on Monday, June 23. Jaylen was following in his dad's footsteps, preparing to start playing on the high school level at Benedictine College Prep in Richmond, Va.
