Troy Dugas, 36, was accidentally released from prison Sunday, Aug. 17, just before he was set to begin his five-year prison sentence. Dugas, who was sentenced to five years after assaulting a family member, was also sentenced to two years for evading arrest, the Harris County Sheriff's Office said.
