Barbara Crosby, 85, was safely located after authorities discovered her dog, Poncho, on Sunday, Aug. 24, in Sonora, Calif., the Tuolumne County Sheriff's Office reported. Unfortunately, the dog disappeared before rescuers could save him as well.
