Former Orange County Superior Court Judge Jeffrey Ferguson was sentenced to 35 years to life for the 2023 killing of his wife, Sheryl. Prosecutors said he argued with her about finances at a restaurant, made a gun-like gesture there, and later — while they watched TV at home — pointed a real gun and fired.
