First Human Dies from New Bird Flu Strain, World Health Organization Confirms

The World Health Organization announced a 59-year-old resident of Mexico died from the first laboratory-confirmed human infection of the H5N2 strain of bird flu. This is not the same strain causing the outbreak in the United States, but experts say it is cause for concern.
