Nyah Mway, a 13-year-old boy, was shot and killed by police on June 28, 2024, in Utica, New York, after he allegedly fled and pulled out a replica pellet handgun. Mway and another teen were stopped by three police officers and frisked because they matched the description of suspects in a recent nearby robbery.
