Thalita Teixeira Padilla was struck by lightning while walking her dog in Boston on Sept. 9, 2023, and more than a year later, on Sept. 19, 2024, she was discharged from the hospital and is able to walk again. Upon her discharge, she said, 'It feels like I was born again.'
