A federal jury has convicted former Louisville police detective Brett Hankison for his role in the botched 2020 drug raid in Louisville that ended with Breonna Taylor dying from a gunshot wound. The death of Taylor, a 26-year-old EMT who was asleep in her bed, sparked protests across the country at the time.
