French-Danish actor Niels Arestrup died at 75 on Sunday, Dec. 1, as his wife Isabelle Le Nouvel confirmed to France's Agence France-Presse. "He passed away surrounded by the love of his family," she wrote in a statement, noting Arestrup had "a courageous fight against illness."
