PEOPLE confirmed on April 29 that a 'Desperate Housewives' offshoot is in the works at Onyx Collective from 20th Television and Kerry Washington's Simpson Street Productions. The spinoff is slated to be called 'Wisteria Lane', which is named after the iconic street where the original series took place.
