Hermenegildo Cerda, Veronica Cerda and their daughters Veronica Denise, Rebecca and Daniela were killed on Saturday, May 10, in a head-on crash on Interstate 45 in Houston. The other driver, Toriano Fair, survived the crash and sustained serious injuries.
