The Los Angeles Dodgers lost pitcher Alex Vesia ahead of the World Series as he stepped off the field due to a "deeply personal family matter." On Thursday, Oct. 23, the Dodgers wrote in a statement, "It's with a heavy heart that we share that Alex Vesia is away from the team."
